Every ounce of media you entertain will be manipulated in such a way as to influence you towards some preconceived narrative... Every person you come across will be greatly unconscious and they will seek to manipulate you in some form or fashion in order to influence you...
Do you really think these people give a shit about you?
How is a person that does not even give a shit about themselves going to give a shit about you?
They cannot give you what they have never once given themselves. That is not cynicism, that is arithmetic. A man running from his own reflection has nothing left over for yours.
You will be bombarded with lies today... And sadly you will not even know any better... And you will eat up your fair portion like a buffet...
That is the part that should get your attention. Not the lying. The appetite. Nobody force feeds you. You walk up to the tray, you fill the plate, and you go back for more because it tastes like the story you already wanted to believe.
You think it is easier going through the motions, do you not? You think it is easier to believe that someone is coming to save your day...

When are you going to realize the media, the government and even all your so-called friends are not there to make your life any better...
They are running their own program in their own theater and you were never the protagonist in it. The sooner you stop waiting for their permission, their accuracy, or their approval, the sooner your own hands become useful again.
